Cholay (Chickpeas)
Hi friends Cholay is one of the most easy dish and it is loved by everyone.. It is the best snack dish.. We can have it in breakfast with puris also..
Ingredients
- Chick peas - 1 small tin can
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1 chopped
- Chaat masala powder - 1 tsp
- Fresh Lemon - 1
- Tomatoe paste - 1 tbs
- OIl - 4 tsp
Method:
- Take a non stick pan heat oil in it.
- Put onions in it and fry till light brown.
- Now put Ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder and tomato paste.
- Stir well and put chick peas in it.
- Let it cook for 5 min.
- Off the flame.
- Garnish it with onion peices, Chaat masala and lemon.
Best snack time prepared in minutes !!

Hmm, this is interesting. I had an Indian boyfriend couple years ago, so he introduced me to indian food. I just came across your site and just wanted to say I have had Cholays b4 and absolutely loved them! I got to try the way you make it though, that would be interesting.
