Khorma

 

This is my favourite dish in my house this dish is enjoyed by everyone.. Here is the recipe for meat khorma

Ingredients:

  1. Meat                        -  1 pound
  2. Onions                   - 1 chopped
  3. Yougurt                   - 4 tbs
  4. Potatoes                  - 2
  5. Ginger Garlic paste   - 1 tsp
  6. Salt                          - 2 tsp
  7. Red Mirchi                - 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder      - 1/2 tsp
  9. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  10. Cumin powder             - 1 tsp

Method

  • First wash meat properly and marinate it with salt, yougurt, mirchi, Ginger Garlic paste, Cumin powder, Garam masala powder and turmeric powder.
  • Leave it aside for 10 min.
  • Mean while in a cooker fry onions till light brown.
  • Then put ginger garlic paste and this marinated meat and put pressure cooker lid.
  • After 10 min cut potatoes and open cooker lid and put potatoes in it.
  • Put it for pressure cooker for 5 min.
  • After 5 min you can see that the meat and the potatoes are tendered.
  • Open lid and on simmer cook it till the oil comes up.
  • Off the Flame and your khorma is ready to eat…..
  • Enjoy it with chapatis or plain rice…
