Oats with Meat (Haleem)
Ingredients:
- Oats - 5 cups
- Meat - 1 pound
- Salt - According to taste
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1 chopped
- Oil - 4 tbs
- Yougurt - 5 tbs
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Water - 7 cups
- Lemon - 1 sliced
Recipe for making oats with meat (Haleem):
- First wash meat properly. Now marinate it with Yougurt, Salt, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Ginger garlic paste and Cumin powder. Keep it aside.
- Take a pressure cooker heat oil in it and put chopped onions in it.
- Let it fry till until brown now put all the marinated meat in it.
- Put the pressure cooker lid on it.
- Cook it for 15-20 min until meat is tendered.
- Now open the lid of the pressure cooker and let it cook for 5 min now put 7 cups of water in it.
- Bring the water to boil. Now put Oats in it and simmer your flame.
- Let it cook for 5 min. Off the flame.
- Your Oats are ready.
- Put lemons juice in it and garnish it with chaat masala.
