Kheema Bhindi ( Okra)

Ingredients:

  1. Kheema                                                - 1 Pound.
  2. Bhindi                                                  - 1 Pound.
  3. Salt                                                     - 1 tsp.
  4. Red chilli powder                                - 1 tsp.
  5. Turmeric powder                                 - a pinch.
  6. Ginger and garlic paste                        - 2 tsp.
  7. Onion                                                   - 1 Finley chopped.
  8. Oil                                                        - 4 Tbs.
  9. Water                                                   - 5 tsp.

Method:

  • Wash kheema properly with changes of water and keep it aside.
  • Take a non stick pan heat oil in it.
  • Put onions in it and fry them till light brown.
  • Put Ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and kheema in it.
  • Throw water in it and cover the pan with lid put it on simmer flame for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes when you see that the water is soaked put bhindi (okra) in it.
  • Cover it again with a lid for 10 minutes.
  • When you see that the colour of okra has changed off the stove.
  • Serve it hot.

    Kheema mixed with khichdi tastes the best. Kheema with Bhendi is a something new but sounds tasty.
