Dahi ki kadi (Yougurt sauce with onions)
Ingredients :
- Yougurt - 4 cups.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp.
- Water - 2 cups.
- Onion - 1 finley chopped.
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp.
- Besan (Gram flour) - 2 tsp.
For Frying:
- OIl - 4 tsp.
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp.
- Red dried chilies - 3.
- Curry leaves - 4.
For Bhajiya:
- Besan (gram flour) - 1 cup.
- Water - for making paste.
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp.
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp.
- OIl - for frying.
- Onions - 2 (Make small pieces.)
Method:
- Take a blender add yougurt, water, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, besan and ginger garlic paste to it.
- Now transfer all these to a sauce pan and put on a low flame.
- When you see that the yougurt sauce is cooking Put onions in it and stir it well and let it cook on a low flame for 5 min After 5 min off the stove.
- Now make bhajiye. Take a bowl add besan, red chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and water to it.
- When the paste is made add onions to it and mix well.
- Take a non stick pan heat oil in it and slowly put bhajiye in it fry until light dark brown and take out when its done.
- Put these bhajiye into the kadi.
- Now for Bhagar heat oil in a small pan add cumin seeds, dried red chilli, curry leaves and add these on the yougurt sauce (kadi).
- Your kadi is ready to eat use this as a nice side dish with rice.
