Dahi ki kadi (Yougurt sauce with onions)

Ingredients :

  1.  Yougurt                                         - 4 cups.
  2. Salt                                                 - 1 tsp.
  3. Turmeric powder                            - 1/2 tsp.
  4. Red chilli powder                           - 1/2 tsp.
  5. Water                                             - 2 cups.
  6. Onion                                             - 1 finley chopped.
  7. Ginger garlic paste                         - 1 tsp.
  8. Besan (Gram flour)                          - 2 tsp.

For Frying:

  1. OIl                                                -  4 tsp.
  2. Cumin seeds                                - 1 tsp.
  3. Red dried chilies                          - 3.
  4. Curry leaves                                - 4.

For Bhajiya:

  1.  Besan (gram flour)                    - 1 cup.
  2. Water                                         - for making paste.
  3. Red chilli powder                       - 1/2 tsp.
  4. Ginger garlic paste                     - 1/2 tsp.
  5. OIl                                             - for frying.
  6. Onions                                       - 2  (Make small pieces.)

Method:

  •  Take a blender add yougurt, water, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, besan  and ginger garlic paste to it.
  • Now transfer all these to a sauce pan and put on a low flame.
  • When you see that the yougurt sauce is cooking  Put onions in it and stir it well and let it cook on a low flame for 5 min After 5 min off the stove.
  • Now make bhajiye. Take a bowl add besan, red chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and water to it.
  • When the paste is made add onions to it and mix well.
  • Take a non stick pan heat oil in it and slowly put bhajiye in it fry until light dark brown and take out when its done.
  • Put these bhajiye into the kadi.
  • Now for Bhagar heat oil in a small pan add cumin seeds, dried red chilli, curry leaves and add these on the yougurt sauce (kadi).
  • Your kadi is ready to eat use this as a nice side dish with rice.
