Ingredients:
- Chicken - 1 pound.
- Yougurt - 4-5 tbs.
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp.
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp.
- Oil - for frying.
- Onions - 2 Chopped.
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp.
- Coriandor leaves - 4-5.
- Black plum - 1.
- Saffron - a pinch.
- Milk - for dissolving saffron.
- Rice - 1 pound.
- Cloves - 4-5.
- Cardamoms and cinnamon - 4-5.
- Lemon - 1.
Method:
- First Wash chicken properly and keep it aside for water draining from it.
- Marinate the chicken with Yougurt, Salt, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Ginger Gralic paste, Garam masala powder and Coriandor leaves.
- Take a Sauce pan Heat oil in it and add chopped onions. After some time add a plum to it and fry it.
- You can notice the colour of onions turns to red its fine fry till light brown. Take out little onions and put Ginger garlic paste and marinated chicken.
- Cook chicken properly till its tendered and the oil comes up.
- Boil water in another pan, add washed rice to the water with Cloves, Cardamom and cinnamon and cook until it is tender. Remove from heat and drain off all the water.
- In a separate wide pan, place the rice at the bottom as a layer and above this, place the chicken pieces as another layer. Repeat this process until the rice and chicken ends. On The top layer put coriandor leaves, fried onions, Saffron mixed with little milk And
- Sprinkle the lemon juice on top and allow it to cook on low heat for about 10 minutes.

Hello this is my first blog here so I thought to start with simple things like khichdi. Every day when i get up in the morning first the question arose to my mind is what to cook. As today is a weekend my Hubby is home so I thought to prepare some Khichdi for him as he loves it very much.. We all love to eat khichdi as it is a simple recipe we love to eat it on weekends or in breakfast usually it tastes good with Khageena, Chutneys, Imli ka khatta and kheema..
Ingredients
- Plain Rice or Basmati Rice - 2 cups
- Onions Finely Chopped - 1
- Salt - According to taste
- Haldi - 1/2 tsp
- Adrak Laisan -1/2 tsp
- Cardamom - 4
- Clove -4
- Masoor dal -1 cup
- Oil - 4 tsp
- Cinnamon -3 sticks
Method:
- Take a non stick utensil Heat Oil in it when Oil is heated put those Chopped onions and stir them till the onion is light brown
- Then put Adrak laisan, Salt, Haldi in it and stir it Then put 4 Glass of water (for 2 Glass of Rice) and put masoor dal then put Cinnamon sticks, Cardamom and Cloves
- Cover the utensil with lid and leave it on high flame
- After some time you can notice the water boil in the utensil
- Then simmer and cook until the rice absorbs the water completely turn off the stove and ur khichdi is done…
- Serve hot with Ghee and above suggested things…….
